Tracy Sekhon got a ton of resources gathered by providers at ARTC Autism to create Covid Packages for 100 children in need. The packages were stuffed with tips for staying safe.
A local girl scout troop donated masks. These were given to children with a badge that acts as a waiver to not wear the mask (if they are not able). It also came with safety instructions.
Just before the girl scouts arrived, a few baby ducks arrived at the event. They had wandered away from their mother and the girls returned them to their pond.
It was an amazing experience to see the response from families and watch the community come together. They will be opening doors June 1 to families who want to stop the regression #covidslide
